Prevention is better than Cure.

It was evening time and Raghav was very keen to run out of the house to play with his friends. It was the month of November and winters had already set in. His Mother was preparing his favorite evening meal for him because of which he had to wait and his play time was getting delayed.

His Mother asked him to get ready and wear the woolens so that he does not catch a cold. He did not pay any heed to his Mother’s advice and hurriedly finished the porridge and rushed out to play with his friends.

He came back after 2 hours and complained of slight headache. His was coughing and his nose was running. His Mother called their Family Doctor. He checked Raghav and found out that he was having fever because of sudden ‘seasonal’ change. He further added that if he had worn a proper winter dress while going to play, he would not have been lying on bed like this !

Thus Raghav could not go to play for one whole week because of fever. If only he had listened to his Mother, he would not have suffered like this !

Lesson: One should always guard oneself against possible mishaps otherwise one has to suffer unnecessarily . Prevention is better than cure.
