Hi all, I have been working for the past three years in a company and year after year I have gone through this custom. Barring my first year I find all the other years were not-so-good apprisals. I do have change in roles for better but the monetary benefits are not satisfying enough compared to the market outside. There is a gross dissatisfaction with my colleagues too.
When argued with my manager he comes up with a explanation as Vertical growth and horizontal growth. Monetary benefits are horizontal growth and change in position is considered to be vertical growth. How do you evaluate your growth in your career? Anyone could share in your thoughts on this..............
