Does looks matter?

Its a query.... well this is one of my friend's problem... actually she got a marriage proposal from a rich family, the guy is working in an MNC where my friend is also working.. My friend likes his nature... but the problem is inspite of getting a good proposal her father said that the guy doesnt have good looks, he would not look good with my daughter...what will my relatives say ki "yeh ladka dhoonda hai?"
Well whats your answer ,is her father right or wrong? Does looks matter ?Do looks score more than nature? if you would have been at her father's place then what would you do??  |

i think here the view n improvisation of girl is more important..
sometimes what u see is .. is not real!!!!

What an awful descision of your friend's father! Instead of asking his daughter's view on the lad, he is putting his own views about the looks of that guy. BTW who is he to decide if the guy looks great or ugly. Is your friend's father blessed with Tom Cruise looks?? Looks do matter a lot to me. Watching flowers in garden gives a pleasure(refreshing) because you know they won't harm you (nature) but a mosquito company without allout, mortein, nets, etc. is frustating. Let the girl visit a psychoanalyst and get her personality analysed. Rich person, very average looks... Deadly combination. Is it nature or only the riches? There are some who tire out very soon of a comfy, cushy life and then what - dissatisfaction... frustration... a new love... divorce. Let her satisfy herself that she wud turn the LIKE to LOVE with her efforts and if she is sure about her own inner strength - only then she shUd go ahead.
