Seeking Career Advice

Hi,
I'm a Post Graduate in Information Technology of 2006 batch. Got married the same year, so could not go for a job. Planning to go for job from next year.
I have no work experience. Some advice to do a short term course. I accept with that. Please guide how to go about that and in which stream |

Hai.. This is SUMAN... from hyd....
I am a post graduate in Physics from Bharathidasan University, Trichy in 2006 pass out.
After that I had been doing as a tutor in Sri Chaithnya Jr Colg upto last month. But i am not interested in teaching field... So i parellelly learnt DataWarehousing and specialised in DataStage.
Now im am in searching for a job.... I have no exp. in attending interviews earlier....
Friends... plg advise me what to do

Hi Vidya,
Nice to know that you are a career oriented person. even after marraige you want to go for job. since you don't have any work experience but have a good background, i would suggest you to go for recruitment/consulting type of profile.
there are few companies, where you will find good exposure and salary and healthy work environment. One of them is CareerNet(www.careernet.co.in).

First find out your area of interest. Are u more inclined towards programming or web designing or database technologies.
In case you have a bent of mind for programming then u must equip yourself with java technogies expertise. In case u have creative bend of mid goin for Web technologies
For database try and do Oracle certification along with JAVA
