the zombie blood salutes us all
burnt flowers in the vase
dead sparrows in the cage

layers of dirt piled up
the desires of heart all dead
lost in the wilderness
hope took the last ship out

this is the dead place
the dead place in my heart
it suffers on its own
it curses to its own

no place to run
no place to hide
life"s a horrific puzzle
staring down a shotgun"s muzzle

there"s all hate and no love
you had the misfortune of being born
over here the smoke rules
and all the ways are lost...
